Amador Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Galeno in the 16th minute of play. If Lino Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Aguirre was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, ACERTIJO MJL's Placido Aguirre got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rolando Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Iraunkor having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rolando Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Rolando Ereinotz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Omar Iraunkor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Gaizkine in the 28th minute of play forced ACERTIJO MJL's goalkeeper Omar Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes ACERTIJO MJL got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Harri. After 31 minutes, Constantino Leobardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agronomía FC and the ACERTIJO MJL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Constantino Leobardo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when ACERTIJO MJL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Agronomía FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ovidio Pello hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Galeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rolando Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agronomía FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Ereinotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Iraunkor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Lino Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Lino Gaizkine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Agronomía FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
