After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Godofredo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asado al parquet's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Edgard Mantzio came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Asado al parquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Mantzio couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Edgard Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Mendez. Ayapaso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Ayapaso getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mateo Hernando hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Eulalio Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ayapaso booed when Asado al parquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rios having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Federico Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Godofredo Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the game, Mateo Hernando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteban Rios. Mateo Hernando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mateo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Asado al parquet's Camilo Tohias got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tobias Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rios having to interfere. Adan Mendez was a little too slow when Godofredo Beltran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Esteban Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ponciano in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ponciano in the 65th minute of play forced Asado al parquet's goalkeeper Esteban Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Tobias Ponciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Rios. Asado al parquet's Esteban Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Ponciano in the 73rd minute of play. Tobias Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Rios having to make a save. Mateo Hernando struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Esteban Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayapaso. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Asado al parquet's goalkeeper Esteban Rios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Godofredo Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
