With a little luck, Recoleta F.C.'s Prospero Gilen got control of the ball when Gaston Mundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prospero Gilen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pablo Gaizko. Gaston Mundo came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Prospero Gilen could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Angastaco's Prospero Gilen threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clodoveo Unai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute of the match, Gaston Mundo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prospero Gilen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Prospero Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Recoleta F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rafael Chorche hit a great ball. With a little luck, Recoleta F.C.'s Prospero Gilen got control of the ball when Gaston Mundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gaston Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angastaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Amado Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angastaco's protests and gave Amado Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Angastaco's Amado Shepherd got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Bilintx in the 39th minute of play forced Recoleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Prospero Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Aureliano Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Mundo got free with Prospero Gilen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edgard Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Recoleta F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Recoleta F.C.'s Evelio Venceslas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaston Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Prospero Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Gaston Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Gilen. Recoleta F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee gave Angastaco a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donato Acosta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Recoleta F.C.'s Prospero Gilen. 4-1. Rafael Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Evelio Venceslas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Gaudencio Rafel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Recoleta F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Acosta was slow to take the kick. During this time Angastaco's players had a chance to rest. When Gaston Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Angastaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Mundo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 98 minutes, Aureliano Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recoleta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Salomon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Angastaco had played much better football throughout.
