Arquitectos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astica the free kick. In the 10th minute, Siro Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berdaitz in the 12th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Tomas Berdaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arquitectos F.C's Jose Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Raymond having to interfere. Jose Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berdaitz in the 25th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astica's goalkeeper Honorato Guib, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nicanor Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Santos in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Guib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Astica's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Santos came free, but Honorato Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Corderall got free with Jose Raymond in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Raymond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Guib read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Astica's Honorato Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Quico in the 73rd minute of play. If Conrado Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Santos in the 78th minute of play forced Astica's goalkeeper Honorato Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Raymond having to interfere. When Aurelio Corderall fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astica's protests and gave Aurelio Corderall a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Corderall hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Honorato Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tomas Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cirilo Fernandes's late challenge caught a Arquitectos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. 101 minutes into the match, Astica's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Quico came free, but Honorato Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Astica players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
