Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berdaitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maximo Min didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berdaitz went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Barrial AFC's Maximo Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Corderall in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Barrial AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Constantino Cristos hit a great ball. Maximo Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Corderall in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barrial AFC's Constantino Cristos got a free kick in the 13th minute. Maximo Min didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Corderall went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Maximo Min showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Augusto Pio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Guib was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Tomas Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Guib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Pio in the 34th minute of play. Barrial AFC's Cipriano Pero got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Astica's Aurelio Corderall made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Min was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Astica's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Pio came free, but Honorato Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Pio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Barrial AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Constantino Cristos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berdaitz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Min saved Barrial AFC from getting behind. Tomas Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Goiz to maneuver through the defense. When Cipriano Pero came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Barrial AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pero couldn't finish the play. Augusto Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute of the match, Tomas Berdaitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Min saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Honorato Guib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Pio's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Honorato Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Itzaina charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Itzaina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrial AFC booed when Astica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Honorato Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berdaitz in the 96th minute of play. The Astica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Astica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
