Augusto Pio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Aquilino Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Min having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Augusto Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrial AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Pio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantino Cristos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When C.A. CASTIGADORES's Saul Chepe in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Maximo Min guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 17 minutes into the match, Cipriano Pero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A. CASTIGADORES's Aquilino Henric. Aquilino Henric was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Chepe in the 22nd minute of play forced Barrial AFC's goalkeeper Maximo Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maximo Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Llanos charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Llanos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, one of C.A. CASTIGADORES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. CASTIGADORES. Aquilino Henric went to the wrong direction when Federico Cordeal was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. C.A. CASTIGADORES's Aquilino Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pero in the 36th minute of play. If Augusto Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Genaro Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Chepe was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute C.A. CASTIGADORES were awarded a corner. Cleto Llanos went to the cornerflag to take it. Cleto Llanos made a great header on C.A. CASTIGADORES's corner, it was just that Barrial AFC's Maximo Min managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, Barrial AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Chepe came free, but Maximo Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. CASTIGADORES's zone, Cipriano Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Henric came out of the goal and Cipriano Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. CASTIGADORES's goalkeeper Aquilino Henric had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Matei. A hard shot by Federico Cordeal from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Aquilino Henric's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cipriano Pero in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aquilino Henric, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute Augusto Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Constantino Cristos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Barrial AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Cristos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, C.A. CASTIGADORES's Cleto Llanos got a free kick in the 75th minute. Barrial AFC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 76th minute of the game, when Federico Cordeal after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of C.A. CASTIGADORES's goal. Federico Cordeal was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Augusto Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Pio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Barrial AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aquilino Henric made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cipriano Pero sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Cordera during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A. CASTIGADORES getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edgardo Cordera hit a great ball. From a short distance, Barrial AFC's Augusto Pio, in the 91st minute, tried to place the ball behind Aquilino Henric, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Saul Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
