The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivan Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Caitano having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, San Lorenzo de Calzada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Estebe to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Emanuel Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo de Calzada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ the free kick. San Lorenzo de Calzada:s Felipe Cordeiro showed great skill when he stopped Isidro Herrera:s penalty. Cesar Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Artemio Urtun kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Fidel Hechter managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Calzada's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Hechter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Sol in the 44th minute of play forced Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's goalkeeper Anibal Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Hechter to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Calzada getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. If Ivan Sol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo de Calzada:s goal. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Calzada's Generoso Estebe got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's Anibal Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Estebe in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Hechter in the 78th minute of play forced Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's goalkeeper Anibal Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo de Calzada's Felipe Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Calzada from getting a goal against them. Anibal Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Sol in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd play minute Geronimo Munio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felipe Cordeiro. 2-1. If Cristian Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Lorenzo de Calzada fully deserved thier win.
