A sloppy throw-in by Domingo Elia in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ampallo FC's Ambrosio Galo. Ampallo FC's Gaspar Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Etxekopar in the 16th minute of play. Mariano Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ambrosio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Horacio Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Leguizamón in the 23rd minute of play forced Ampallo FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Goi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Estefan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Vachon in the 27th minute. Narciso Palban hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Etxekopar got free with Gaspar Estefan in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Ampallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Cerilo. The crowd rose to their feet as Azzurro's Jonatan Etxekopar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaspar Estefan. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. Narciso Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Palban to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvio Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Goi having to interfere. The throw-in from Domingo Elia in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ampallo FC's Ambrosio Galo. The referee showed Mariano Diagur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Azzurro booed when Ampallo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Raebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Braulio Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Vachon in the 84th minute of the match. Gaspar Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Etxekopar in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Braulio Xacintu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Goi, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
