The crowd rose to their feet as Alonzo Iturri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Ireno. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Domingo Iztal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eldorado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eldorado's Zacarias Ireno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Eldorado from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Eldorado got a freekick which was hit by Angel Dantae. Zacarias Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Teyo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. A collision led to Eldorado getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Feliciano Phelipe hit a great ball. The supporters of Eldorado booed when Echegoyen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eldorado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Javier Teyo scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Ireno, making the score, 3-2. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Javier Teyo took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Zacarias Ireno to make any attempt to save it. Alonzo Iturri did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-2 to the left of a surprised Zacarias Ireno 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes in the game, Eriberto Nastasio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zacarias Ireno having to interfere. In the 48th minute Domingo Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Iturri was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Eldorado's zone, Javier Teyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Ireno came out of the goal and Javier Teyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Alonzo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Machado took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Ireno. Zacarias Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. Zacarias Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Iturri scored 9-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Ireno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Machado in the 83rd minute of play forced Eldorado's goalkeeper Zacarias Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Echegoyen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Loren to maneuver through the defense. Donato Rocendo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zacarias Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Echegoyen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
