Bebeto Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Saul Eufemio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Mogigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Huly came free, but Filiberto Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Catarinense in the 15th minute of play. Cecilio Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Saul Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mogigasta's Jacinto Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bebeto Catarinense in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Eufemio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Saul Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mogigasta's Bebeto Catarinense in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 43 played minutes, Olavarria FC's Gavino Gaxan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Otoniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olavarria FC reached it. The wind increased when Humberto Huly made the kick off in the second half. Bebeto Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Eufemio having to make a save. 5-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Bebeto Catarinense elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Mogigasta's Vicente Idacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Eufemio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Mogigasta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
