The Zona Pedernera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Vincente should have stopped the shot. Marcial Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Birila in the 34th minute of play. Ubaldo Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Virgilio Gurutz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Mogigasta's Virgilio Gurutz tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Jacinto Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Vincente. Zona Pedernera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Zona Pedernera getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fidel Sotero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zona Pedernera's Cipriano Tonete got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zona Pedernera's Marcial Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Idacio in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Vicente Idacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Vincente. Zona Pedernera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Idacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 72 minutes, Cesar Francho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zona Pedernera and the Mogigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cesar Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jacinto Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Vincente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mogigasta fully deserved thier win.
