With his leg Blas Mikelar managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when C. A. Cuervos de Cba.'s Eriberto Montrelle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Furman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nicanor Mitxaut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Servet Çetin. C. A. Cuervos de Cba.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Domingo Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C. A. Cuervos de Cba. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nicasio Cordarryl hit a great ball. Isidoro Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servet Çetin having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Pamier got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Rivas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Atarratze to make the kick off. Servet Çetin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
