Anselmo Shantala's late challenge caught a NDI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Shantala helped the player get up and apologised. If Jonathan Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Fonda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Telo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Fabio Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Jonathan Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Telo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Fonda. Lino Fonda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Nemesio Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Fonda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Telo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half NDI FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Betadur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Fonda was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Nemesio Telo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Telo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Nemesio Telo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Lino Fonda to make any attempt to save it. Nemesio Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lino Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Le Petard a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximo Leocadio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NDI FC's Hector Bastian. 2-3. Anselmo Shantala hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Le Petard's zone, Cristian Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Fonda came out of the goal and Cristian Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lino Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Fabio Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Petard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonso Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Le Petard booed when NDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded NDI FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Le Petard.
