The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Lugano Star C.D's Pedro Dimas threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pacifico Tejadillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Segundo Bernabel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Dimas to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Dimas was a little too slow when Segundo Bernabel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Jokin came free, but Arnulfo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Farias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Dimas came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Farias slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 27th minute. Equipo Vasco FC's Pedro Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacifico Tejadillo in the 30th minute of play. Pedro Dimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Farias's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Segundo Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Jokin in the 41st minute of play forced Lugano Star C.D's goalkeeper Arnulfo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Bernabel went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Farias made a kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Andres Farias sped through Equipo Vasco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Dimas. Tobias Eladio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pacifico Tejadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dimas having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Lugano Star C.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Neto to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Chale hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of Equipo Vasco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Lugano Star C.D. Segundo Bernabel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Dimas. 7-1.
