In the 29th match minute, Loventuel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Fortun struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Prudencio Arlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Juventud FC. The Atletico Juventud FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Beila should have stopped the shot. Hermengildo Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Jacob in the 37th minute of the match. Prudencio Arlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Fortun in the 71st minute of play. Ciro Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Arlo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atletico Juventud FC's Ciro Goito got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Sixto Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Loventuel AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Genaro Aureo hit a great ball. Reynaldo Abarca, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eugenio Celino's late challenge caught a Loventuel AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Celino helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Atletico Juventud FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Celino. Sixto Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Elixio during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rene Jacob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Loventuel AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loventuel AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
