Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) The Cipolleti fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Cipolleti's Candido Oroitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celso Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ezequiel Azubeli charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Azubeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A. Luzuriaga getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ezequiel Azubeli hit a great ball. After 19 minutes of play, Cipolleti's Virgilio Martinez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Kinsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 minutes, Candido Oroitz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Luzuriaga's Celso Kinsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Amador Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gerazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cipolleti's Raimundo Abascal got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 29 played minutes Cipolleti got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Martinez. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Cipolleti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. Luzuriaga:s goal. Delmar Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Basualdo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Dunixi in the 51st minute of play forced C.A. Luzuriaga's goalkeeper Celso Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipolleti's Delmar Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jorge Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cipolleti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Dunixi couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Jorge Dunixi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Delmar Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Kinsen having to interfere. A hard shot 63 in the game by Delmar Abadie from a close distance when the talented Celso Kinsen managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Luzuriaga's players were relieved. After having played for 65 minutes, Jorge Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipolleti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Dunixi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Kinsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Abadie in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Luzuriaga's goalkeeper Celso Kinsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delmar Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorge Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cipolleti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Dunixi couldn't finish the play. Delmar Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ulises Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Luzuriaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Basualdo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Gerazan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Dunixi in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Luzuriaga's zone, Delmar Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Kinsen came out of the goal and Delmar Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Dunixi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Kinsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Cipolleti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
