In the 12th minute, Modesto Matai made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Aballe. Paraní FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Osvaldo Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Paraní FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Inko. Marciano Aballe came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vinyes SI's Modesto Matai. But to his dismay, Modesto Matai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Matai in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Aballe saved Paraní FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Modesto Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Aballe was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Vinyes SI's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Bernebe came free, but Martin Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Fidensio's late challenge caught a Paraní FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Fidensio helped the player get up and apologised. When Desiderio Bemabe came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paraní FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Bemabe couldn't finish the play. Braulio Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Bernebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Paraní FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Bernebe. 40 minutes into the game, one of Paraní FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marciano Aballe had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ruben Isaio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Bemabe was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Honesto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraní FC's Octavio Blasi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Vinyes SI defense, Braulio Bernebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Bertin. The Vinyes SI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Bertin should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Lucas Furman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vinyes SI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 76thth minute of the game Modesto Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraní FC's Marciano Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Paraní FC defense, Modesto Matai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Aballe. The Paraní FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Aballe should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Vinyes SI getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ruben Isaio hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraní FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
