Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Ereinotz in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Ereinotz came free, but Mauricio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Ereinotz made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Deportivo Alavés got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Gaufred. Basilio Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Victorio Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moldes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Ereinotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Raymon might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Raymon ran back to his position shaking his head. Justino Ibañez kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Aureliano Kaxen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Arman Jönsson made a huge save. Arsenio Lope's shot from long distance in the 84th minute was not bad at all, but Moldes AFC's Arman Jönsson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Moldes AFC's Victorio Ereinotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauricio Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raul Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
