Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Feo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rogelio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ismael Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rogelio Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia L.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes of play, Gimnasia L.P.'s Jimeno Venerando made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Dunixi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fausto Ado fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comechingones's protests and gave Fausto Ado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, one of Comechingones:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Comechingones. Ismael Dunixi had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Constantino Liher's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rogelio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ismael Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Calisto in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Comechingones's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Ceandro came free, but Ismael Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Comechingones defense, Saverio Calisto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Dunixi. The Comechingones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Dunixi should have stopped the shot. If Rogelio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogelio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ismael Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Felix Piearres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Rogelio Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The Comechingones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Dunixi should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Rogelio Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Dunixi. Comechingones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Flor in the 46th minute of play forced Comechingones's goalkeeper Ismael Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Venerando made a kick off. After some careless play in the Comechingones defense, Placido Ceandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Dunixi. The Comechingones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Placido Ceandro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ismael Dunixi came out and tried to block the shot, but Placido Ceandro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Jimeno Venerando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Ismael Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68th play minutes Jimeno Venerando shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Ismael Dunixi and just under the crossbar into goal. Ismael Dunixi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Constantino Liher. Ismael Dunixi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia L.P.'s Felix Piearres. But to his dismay, Felix Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. In the 75th minute, Rogelio Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Dunixi. Comechingones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Regis during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Comechingones getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nicanor Regis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Venerando in the 85th minute of play forced Comechingones's goalkeeper Ismael Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gimnasia L.P. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Silvano Flor hit a great ball. Gimnasia L.P.'s Primitivo Raymon was substituted for Saverio Calisto. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia L.P.'s Silvano Flor got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Rogelio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gimnasia L.P. played a much better game than Comechingones and deserved their victory. The Comechingones players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
