Rene Dominic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Apolo Cutberto made a huge save. Ovidio Cristos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11th play minutes Angel Bonadona shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Santiago Isias and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Saavedra FC's Emiliano Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Ovidio Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locolope FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saavedra FC the free kick. In the 20th minute Andres Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rene Dominic sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Andres Videl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Isias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Saavedra FC's Andres Videl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Isias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Locolope FC's Luis Bilintx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luis Bilintx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Locolope FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luis Bilintx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 41 played minutes Locolope FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Bilintx. Abel Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Isias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Andres Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saavedra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Isias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With a little luck, Locolope FC's Santiago Isias got control of the ball when Andres Videl tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Pablo Gergori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locolope FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saavedra FC the free kick. After 53 played minutes Locolope FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Gergori. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra FC's zone, Pablo Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Cutberto came out of the goal and Pablo Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Saavedra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Dominic came free, but Apolo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saavedra FC's Emiliano Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 76th minute. Locolope FC's Santiago Isias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Locolope FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, Leo Piorno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saavedra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locolope FC the free kick. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saavedra FC! Rene Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Locolope FC's Rene Dominic made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
