A collision led to Locolope FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eloy Manni hit a great ball. If Cesar Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Deportivo Ceres's Federico Soin got control of the ball when Rene Dominic tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Locolope FC's zone, Cesar Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Isias came out of the goal and Cesar Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ermegildo Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Eloy Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Deportivo Ceres got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Gilabert. After 43 minutes, Christian Iratzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Ceres and the Locolope FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Ceres getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Iratzeder hit a great ball. The long shot by Edelmiro Quiroga in the 44th minute really tested Federico Soin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Locolope FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Iratzeder came free, but Santiago Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Deportivo Ceres fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Deportivo Ceres's Cesar Eztebe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Sesuldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Isias was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Herminio Dalmu hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Deportivo Ceres's Domingos Gaskon in action when he in the 71st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 73 minutes into the match, Locolope FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Sesuldo came free, but Santiago Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Rene Dominic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Rene Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Soin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes of play Deportivo Ceres's Christian Iratzeder was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 81 played minutes Deportivo Ceres got a freekick which was hit by Christian Iratzeder. Rene Dominic struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Federico Soin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locolope FC. Luis Bilintx's late challenge caught a Deportivo Ceres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Bilintx helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Locolope FC's Luis Bilintx got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cesar Eztebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Santiago Isias made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Ceres left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Locolope FC.
