In the 10th minute Conrado Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sheffield defense, Eusebio Burutzagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Uxio. The Sheffield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Uxio should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, one of Sheffield:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sheffield. In the 41st minute, Efrain Mazuste made a precise shot to the right of Christian Uxio. Sheffield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 45 minutes into the match, Sheffield's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Burutzagi came free, but Christian Uxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pascual Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Ted having to interfere. Niceto Evis charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Napostá booed when Sheffield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Burutzagi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. After a rather tough play, Sheffield's Niceto Evis got a free kick in the 97th minute. Napostá's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
