The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. El Rojo de Mardel's Severino Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save El Rojo de Mardel from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the game, Vinicio Eliu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perico AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Rojo de Mardel the free kick. Vinicio Eliu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Andres Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Llorienzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Andres Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match, Maximiliano Palban tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severino Pagomari saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anibal Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Indar struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bernardino Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rojo de Mardel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Palban in the 28th minute of play forced El Rojo de Mardel's goalkeeper Severino Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Pagomari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raul Ler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Erasmo Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Raul Ler made a precise shot to the right of Severino Pagomari. El Rojo de Mardel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 41st minute, Raul Ler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perico AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Andres Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, El Rojo de Mardel's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Palban came free, but Severino Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes El Rojo de Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Domenec. In the 56th minute Erasmo Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Pagomari came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Perico AFC's Maximiliano Palban. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Palban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Kusko in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Pagomari saved El Rojo de Mardel from getting behind. Severino Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Cirilo Bixintxo threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Rojo de Mardel's Hilário Benevides quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Ler in the 73rd minute of play forced El Rojo de Mardel's goalkeeper Severino Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the El Rojo de Mardel defense, Maximiliano Palban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Pagomari. The El Rojo de Mardel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Pagomari should have stopped the shot. El Rojo de Mardel's Severino Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Ler in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the El Rojo de Mardel defense, Erasmo Kusko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Pagomari. The El Rojo de Mardel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Pagomari should have stopped the shot. Albano Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Severino Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hilário Benevides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Bernardino Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perico AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
