Damian Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Wilber Arango tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Paez hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Los Defes de Sarandí's Wilber Arango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rudolfo in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Endura in the 11th minute of play forced Los Defes de Sarandí's goalkeeper Wilber Arango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Azulcuesta AFC booed when Los Defes de Sarandí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Azulcuesta AFC's Arnaldo Bihar tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes, Azulcuesta AFC's Daniel Froylan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilber Arango came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azulcuesta AFC reached it. Wilber Arango didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Rudolfo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Los Defes de Sarandí's Wilber Arango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rudolfo in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Daniel Froylan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilber Arango showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Los Defes de Sarandí getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Amauri Melo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Arnaldo Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulcuesta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilber Arango breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Sakarias Bratt made the kick off in the second half. Walery Gorzkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Mercurio having to interfere. Teobaldo Frans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilber Arango firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th match minute, Los Defes de Sarandí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Sindo to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Mercurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Bratt went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Nardo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Azulcuesta AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
