Maximiliano Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Gabriel Txomin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Remicio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Sauveur got free with Jesus Afonso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Timoteo Mergildo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF de La Recoleta's protests and gave Timoteo Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes CF de La Recoleta got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Mergildo. Maximiliano Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Vigil in the 28th minute of the match. CF de La Recoleta's Maximiliano Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Abeita in the 33rd minute of play. Jairo Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 86 minutes, Constantino Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book.
