The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Antonio Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Pierres having to interfere. Reynaldo Urtungo's late challenge caught a C.A. Fortín Barracas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Urtungo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Hudson 09 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Su in the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Fiz got free with Antonio Pierres in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Garaona hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Rafe during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Fortín Barracas's zone, Lino Cordarell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Lando came out of the goal and Lino Cordarell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Rafe hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Emiliano Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Ordono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Tiburcio Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hudson 09 FC's Lino Cordarell in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Fortín Barracas's goalie prevented a goal. During the 29th minute of the match Lucas Rafe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lucas Rafe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hudson 09 FC's Isaias Aires was substituted for Reynaldo Urtungo. Emiliano Lando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Antonio Pierres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Fiz in the 34th minute. Lino Cordarell might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Lando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Cordarell ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Aires charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Aires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Isaias Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Fiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Vermudo lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Fortín Barracas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute, Marcos Ordono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hudson 09 FC booed when C.A. Fortín Barracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Lino Cordarell made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Fortín Barracas's Emiliano Lando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Lando was a little too slow when Marcos Ordono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. Emiliano Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ordono in the 69th minute of play. Emiliano Lando made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lino Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 72 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Fortín Barracas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lino Cordarell did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Emiliano Lando 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, C.A. Fortín Barracas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Ordono fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Su during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, C.A. Fortín Barracas's Emiliano Lando got control of the ball when Lino Cordarell tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Cordarell in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Lando saved C.A. Fortín Barracas from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Hudson 09 FC's Marcos Ordono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Lando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiliano Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Cordarell in the 97th minute. Hudson 09 FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
