Damaso Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geir Bø having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Txilar during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Elpidio Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gilberto Urre came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Aston Birra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Urre couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra FC's Carlos Jaen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alonzo Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Maju in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. David Cristofor hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Argenis. In the 59th minute, Domingo Enol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When David Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Independiente's protests and gave David Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. C.A.Independiente's Elvio Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Aston Birra FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Agustin Abilio hit a great ball. When Elvio Cordearo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Cordearo couldn't finish the play. Fabian Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Cordearo in the 90th minute of play forced Aston Birra FC's goalkeeper Damaso Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
