Spectators: 7311 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) RACING1967's Tiburcio Tebaldo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Intxixu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Aquilino Frascuelo could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Astor Ourente however easily saved by the left post. Fausto Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Frascuelo got free with Astor Ourente in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Gaizko in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Jordy saved Monteverde from getting behind. If Amancio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Cruz lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of RACING1967:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Astor Ourente came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Monteverde's Javier Feo. But to his dismay, Javier Feo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tiburcio Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fausto Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Jordy having to interfere. The throw-in from Fabricio Aurre in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RACING1967's Honorato Ortle. After 45th play minutes Tiburcio Tebaldo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Fausto Jordy and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Armando Umbruso made the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Tebaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Jordy having to make a save. After 58 minutes of play, RACING1967's Tiburcio Tebaldo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Jordy was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Frascuelo in the 63rd minute of play forced RACING1967's goalkeeper Astor Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Ourente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Ortle got free with Fausto Jordy in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiburcio Tebaldo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Fausto Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RACING1967. Tiburcio Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Jordy having to interfere. Astor Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Frascuelo in the 85th minute of play. Honorato Ortle kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Astor Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Frascuelo in the 88th minute of the match. Tiburcio Tebaldo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Fausto Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RACING1967. Tiburcio Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RACING1967 were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
