Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Pedro Quirze made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Flavio Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stephenson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ledesma FC the free kick. With a little luck, Ledesma FC's Gerardo Chico got control of the ball when Pedro Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Chico came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Stephenson's Flavio Benvido. But to his dismay, Flavio Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute Pedro Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Nevada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerardo Chico came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Nevada slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Gerardo Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Benvido in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Salvador Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stephenson's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerardo Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Ledesma FC's Raimundo Itzaina made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Pelayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Nevada was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Nevada during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorio Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benjamin Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Honorio Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Montrel in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Stephenson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Arce to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Ledesma FC's Pedro Quirze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Pelayo. Benjamin Pelayo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The supporters of Ledesma FC booed when Stephenson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Benvido in the 72nd minute of play forced Ledesma FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Nevada in the 74th minute of play. Primitivo Santio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Raimundo Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ledesma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stephenson fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ledesma FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
