In the 37thth minute of the game Victor Senio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiento corto II's Daniil Kudrya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Fernan Avellaneda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniil Kudrya. Tiento corto II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Avellaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tiento corto II's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernan Avellaneda 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. The Tiento corto II fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. River Plate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
