After having played for 20 minutes, Samuel Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Depor Los Pinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Agote's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Dayam came free, but Edelmiro Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Criston got free with Edelmiro Benvide in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Depor Los Pinos's Samuel Criston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Benvide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godofredo Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Agote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Criston in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Benvide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 33 in the game by Samuel Criston from a close distance when the talented Edelmiro Benvide managed to make a qualified save. Agote's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Criston got free with Edelmiro Benvide in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emilio Palladino came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Depor Los Pinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Palladino couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Criston in the 39th minute. With his leg Edelmiro Benvide managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Depor Los Pinos's Samuel Criston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 42 minutes, Gustavo Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Criston made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Freddy Dayam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edelmiro Benvide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Samuel Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Criston in the 61st minute of play forced Agote's goalkeeper Edelmiro Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Samuel Criston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agote's Edelmiro Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Valeri Karpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Criston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Samuel Criston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Depor Los Pinos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 69thth minute of the game Samuel Criston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agote's Edelmiro Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Samuel Criston put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edelmiro Benvide. In the 72nd minute, Mariano Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Depor Los Pinos's Samuel Criston made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Benvide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Depor Los Pinos's Mariano Reyes was substituted for Gavino Ekialde. Samuel Criston struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edelmiro Benvide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Depor Los Pinos. In the 86th minute of the match Ambrosio Amato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Roma skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Samuel Criston sped through Agote's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edelmiro Benvide. Freddy Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Benvide having to interfere. Depor Los Pinos's Samuel Criston managed to work through Agote's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Samuel Criston dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 95 minutes into the game, Emilio Palladino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Edelmiro Benvide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Depor Los Pinos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
