Guido Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Naelio in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Panpili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Maura was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Anselmo Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Baleren having to interfere. Eloy Baleren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Lehior in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Atlas pasion's Niceto Dodorol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Baleren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Niceto Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Niceto Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Lehior got free with Eloy Baleren in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Panpili was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Atlas pasion's goalkeeper Guido Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Naelio. 56 minutes into the match, Anselmo Lehior notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pinamar's Eloy Baleren. Eloy Baleren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Dodorol in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Baleren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Anselmo Lehior notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pinamar's Eloy Baleren. Eloy Baleren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 played minutes Pinamar got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Firman. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinamar's goalkeeper Eloy Baleren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Baleren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Lehior's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Niceto Dodorol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Baleren. Pinamar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Dodorol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pinamar's Eloy Baleren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Lehior in the 87th minute of play. Niceto Dodorol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Niceto Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Atlas pasion booed when Pinamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Niceto Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, one of Pinamar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pinamar. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Atlas pasion. Saverio Gora stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eloy Baleren. 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlas pasion fully deserved thier win.
