When Gaspar Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RMP FC's protests and gave Gaspar Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, RMP FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes RMP FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Xacintu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Berti in the 26th minute of play forced RMP FC's goalkeeper Domingo Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingo Mateus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Aznar. Domingo Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
