In the 14th match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Asteri to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Ipar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Michael's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Pablo Toro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Emporioneta's Aquiles Bertin. Aquiles Bertin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Gonzo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aquiles Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Emporioneta's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Rik came free, but Aquiles Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Inter Miami's Ariel Rik in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aquiles Bertin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Emporioneta through an amazing save. In the 88th minute, Pablo Toro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
