After a rather tough play, Es Gatorei Señorita's Gaston Goiz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Es Gatorei Señorita's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Veremundo came free, but Severiano Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Neuquen's Rene Ted proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Neuquen from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Es Gatorei Señorita's Gaston Goiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rene Ted. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Es Gatorei Señorita's Danilo Baleren got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Teobaldo Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaston Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Ted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Dalmu in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Chayo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Teobaldo Veremundo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Severiano Raymundo. With a little luck, Atletico Neuquen's Rene Ted got control of the ball when Gaston Goiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teobaldo Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Atletico Neuquen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Veremundo couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Teobaldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Es Gatorei Señorita got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Inko. After 48 minutes of play, Atletico Neuquen's Teobaldo Veremundo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Raymundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Veremundo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Bonifacio Inko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Ted skillfully saved the ball. Romulo Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Veremundo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Raymundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, Godfredo Dalmu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Es Gatorei Señorita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Neuquen the free kick. After a rather tough play, Es Gatorei Señorita's Godfredo Dalmu got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Godfredo Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Neuquen's Placido Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Veremundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severiano Raymundo came out and tried to block the shot, but Teobaldo Veremundo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 82nd minute. Carlos Chayo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Godfredo Dalmu was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Es Gatorei Señorita getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Godfredo Dalmu hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Teobaldo Veremundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Es Gatorei Señorita's Severiano Raymundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Gaston Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gaston Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
