In the 3rdth minute of the game Candido Madeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corcoran CF's Teo Basualdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th minute Rene Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Blasi in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Corcoran CF's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Madeo came free, but Teo Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Basualdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Irrintzi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Joel Lluterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corcoran CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Gallinero the free kick. In the 17th minute, Joel Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see El Gallinero's Eloy Vitin in action when he in the 18th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Arotza got free with Dalmacio Olivar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Basualdo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by El Gallinero's Candido Madeo. But to his dismay, Candido Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Corcoran CF's Teo Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Madeo in the 28th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Irrintzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Enrique Irrintzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Basualdo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Candido Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Basualdo having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Candido Madeo made a precise shot to the right of Teo Basualdo. Corcoran CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Corcoran CF's zone, Candido Madeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Basualdo came out of the goal and Candido Madeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Irrintzi in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, El Gallinero's Candido Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Basualdo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 93 minutes into the game, Gabriel Arotza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Dalmacio Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
