Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5491, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eustaquio Matteo made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Atlético Sta. Clara's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Eguntsenti came free, but Mauricio Lorencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Bruno Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Bajastine got a freekick which was hit by Amado Fanuco. Nestor Asteri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Sugoi in the 11th minute of the match. Mauricio Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Clara's Fulgencio Artaldo got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Nestor Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bajastine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Bajastine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Fanuco to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Eguntsenti in the 23rd minute of play. Luciano Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mauricio Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Eustaquio Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Luciano Sugoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Lorencio. Atlético Sta. Clara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Sugoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Luciano Sugoi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mauricio Lorencio, passed just outside the right post. After 62 played minutes Bajastine got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Sugoi. Eustaquio Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Txeru having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bajastine's Nestor Asteri got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bajastine's Amado Fanuco got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Amado Fanuco off the ground. Amado Fanuco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Astor Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Sta. Clara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Sazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bajastine's Teodoro Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Matteo in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Bajastine getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nestor Asteri hit a great ball. Nestor Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Atlético Sta. Clara got a corner. Bajastine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Sazon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luciano Sugoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauricio Lorencio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mauricio Lorencio came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Bajastine's Luciano Sugoi. But to his dismay, Luciano Sugoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Joel Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Mauricio Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Bajastine could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Sta. Clara throughout the match.
