A hard shot by Edelmiro Burni from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Jorge Mino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 8th minute, Amado Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aquiles Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Progresso's Jorge Mino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Progresso from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Luzea in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Txeru saved Bajastine from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Bajastine got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Selmo. 24 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Asteri came free, but Jorge Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Eguntsenti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jorge Mino made a huge save. Pablo Quinto hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Bajastine got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Burni. Angelino Orlin shot from long distance after 32 played minutes, a shot that Teodoro Txeru with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. If Luciano Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Fanuco in the 34th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bajastine booed when Progresso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Eguntsenti came free, but Jorge Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Luzea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajastine's goalkeeper Teodoro Txeru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bajastine's Joel Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Urtsin during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guaberto Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Angelino Orlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bajastine's Teodoro Txeru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Bajastine from getting a goal against them. Jorge Mino came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Bajastine's Luciano Sugoi. But to his dismay, Luciano Sugoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 72 minutes into the match, Bajastine's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Abeita came free, but Teodoro Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Progresso booed when Bajastine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bajastine's Teodoro Txeru got control of the ball when Elvio Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Mino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Asteri went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jorge Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Asteri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Nestor Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Amado Fanuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Mino. Progresso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Fanuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Progresso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bajastine.
