In the 18th minute, Fulgencio Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Rosendo Uhin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rustic FC and the Saraza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saraza's Jorge Ponc was substituted for Ezequiel Nuno. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Rustic FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saraza:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Saraza. Celso Garcia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adan Ruisko. 0-1. Adan Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Garcia in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rustic FC's zone, Celso Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Ruisko came out of the goal and Celso Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Filomeno Erramu from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Herminio Lehoi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Gora to make the kick off. Saraza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
