In the 8thth minute of the game Jacobo Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winning Eleven's Saturnino Cresencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Cresencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Gilberto Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gervasio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Pancho was a little too slow when Gilberto Frederico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Everardo Polentzi's late challenge caught a Winning Eleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes FC La Tenes Adentro got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Polentzi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Nevada in the 37th minute of play forced Winning Eleven's goalkeeper Saturnino Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Romeo Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC La Tenes Adentro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winning Eleven the free kick. In the 41st minute, Romeo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Neto was the one to do the kick off. Gilberto Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Frederico in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Cresencio having to interfere. Gualterio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Frederico in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Cresencio was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. FC La Tenes Adentro's Gualterio Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Raphael in the 69th minute of play. If Romeo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jacobo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Frederico in the 86th minute of play. If Romeo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC La Tenes Adentro players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Winning Eleven from taking control.
