In the 8th minute Eriberto Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Cresencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Asier scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Cresencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Leheren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Balesio. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Arturo Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Proyecto Blu XXI's goalkeeper Adrian Balesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Muno. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Celso Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Proyecto Blu XXI's zone, Arturo Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Balesio came out of the goal and Arturo Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benjamin Muno came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Muno couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Damario to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Benjamin Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Proyecto Blu XXI the free kick. After 51 played minutes Rosa got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Muno. Alberto Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adrian Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rosa fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Rosa's Arturo Leheren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Cutberto got free with Gaspar Cresencio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Arturo Leheren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Balesio was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
