With a little luck, UNION 1989 FC's Teofilo Olando got control of the ball when German Hitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. UNION 1989 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Horacio Weterio scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Olando, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of UNION 1989 FC booed when Anor londo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, UNION 1989 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Urki came free, but Teofilo Olando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, UNION 1989 FC's Andres Gauargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Lando was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Amado Ascencio managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when UNION 1989 FC's Santiago Lando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teofilo Olando came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Anor londo's Salvador Hunfredo. But to his dismay, Salvador Hunfredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The Anor londo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Ascencio should have stopped the shot. After 77 minutes, Santiago Lando made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Anor londo's Amado Ascencio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Urki in the 82nd minute of play forced UNION 1989 FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Olando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If German Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UNION 1989 FC's Teofilo Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hunfredo in the 90th minute of play. Teofilo Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Hunfredo in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Anor londo's Haroldo Urki got a free kick in the 90th minute. Santiago Lando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Amado Ascencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the UNION 1989 FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Anor londo.
