Leon Beti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zafer Reis in the 13th minute. Nicolas Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Elida's Leon Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Reis in the 17th minute of play. Nicolas Cordeiro in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leon Beti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ceferino Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zafer Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Zafer Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Beti made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Nicolas Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Nottingham Forres FC's Sergio Cordarrell shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leon Beti but with some difficulty. Zafer Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Cordeiros short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Leon Beti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 39 minutes, Jorge Guillelmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elida and the Nottingham Forres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 40 minutes, Zafer Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nottingham Forres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zafer Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafer Reis in the 42nd minute of play forced Elida's goalkeeper Leon Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience was convinced that Nicolas Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Beti was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Leon Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafer Reis in the 57th minute of the match.
