The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 11th minute, Luis Gines made a precise shot to the right of Kleopas Seeholzer. La Matera Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Zubillaga AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bruno Urdin hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Astor Lico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, La Matera Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Urdin came free, but Kleopas Seeholzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Urdin in the 18th minute of play forced La Matera Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Kleopas Seeholzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albano Paz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zubillaga AFC's protests and gave Albano Paz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Matera Fútbol Club booed when Zubillaga AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gilberto Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Matera Fútbol Club's Zeno Devos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santiago Leheren in the 25 minute of the game. The supporters of La Matera Fútbol Club booed when Zubillaga AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Jaunti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicanor Beltxe. If Luis Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Jaunti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Lico in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Luis Gines took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Kleopas Seeholzer to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th match minute, Zubillaga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Proença to maneuver through the defense. Luis Gines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeno Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 69 played minutes La Matera Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Julian Beti. Luis Gines succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 70th playminute. Luis Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kleopas Seeholzer made a huge save. In the 81st minute of the match, Luis Gines got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kleopas Seeholzer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A hard shot 82 in the game by Luis Gines from a close distance when the talented Kleopas Seeholzer managed to make a qualified save. La Matera Fútbol Club's players were relieved. La Matera Fútbol Club's Kleopas Seeholzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Ekain in the 83rd minute of play. Kleopas Seeholzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Zubillaga AFC booed when La Matera Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, La Matera Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Kleopas Seeholzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Gines. With a little luck, La Matera Fútbol Club's Kleopas Seeholzer got control of the ball when Luis Gines tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Victoriano Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The La Matera Fútbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zubillaga AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Zubillaga AFC.
