After 3 played minutes Eam got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Luzea. If Pablo Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florentino Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Austin in the 8th minute of the match. Florentino Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Itzaina, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Abel Maiorga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moises Abeitia came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Maiorga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. If Pablo Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Defensores F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christian Calvet came free, but Florentino Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Defensores F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Porfirio. Florentino Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pablo Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Lano having to interfere. Florentino Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Austin in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Itzaina came free, but Florentino Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Pablo Austin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Lano. Defensores F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Austin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Defensores F.C.'s Florentino Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Rosio in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Maiorga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores F.C.'s zone, Igor Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Lano came out of the goal and Igor Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Defensores F.C. defense, Nicolas Inko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Lano. The Defensores F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Lano should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Luzea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 62nd playminute. In the 67th minute Abel Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Eam's Pablo Austin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Igor Itzaina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 77th playminute. Pablo Austin scored 1-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eam's Modesto Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Igor Itzaina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Lano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Igor Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Florentino Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eam's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
