In the 18th minute of the match, Eriberto Galo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauricio Transito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes into the match, Blas Lizbeth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Transito. Ardiles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Lizbeth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 22 minutes into the match, Ardiles's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Galo came free, but Mauricio Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Lizbeth took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Transito. Mauricio Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Galo in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Ardiles booed when Payogasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Mincho in the 29th minute of the match. Mauricio Transito made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Blas Lizbeth sent off a good shot on target. Ardiles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Eriberto Galo scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Transito, making the score, 5-1. Ardiles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Eriberto Galo scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Transito, making the score, 6-1. In the 40th minute, Blas Lizbeth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Transito was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Galo in the 43rd minute of play forced Ardiles's goalkeeper Mauricio Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Transito acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tobias Louis. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Solustiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Lizbeth in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Justino Chuse made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Transito. Ardiles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. But to his dismay, Adolfo Bortzaioriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Mauricio Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Chuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mauricio Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Justino Chuse made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Transito. Ardiles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-1. In the 81st minute, Blas Lizbeth made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Transito. Ardiles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-1. Mauricio Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Bortzaioriz in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Adolfo Bortzaioriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Transito was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-1. There was no doubt that Payogasta AFC were the better team. Payogasta AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
