Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiburcio Nafarroa got the match started through his kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Tiburcio Nafarroa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mauricio Transito to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Intiguasi's Anacleto Cordarell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Transito. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ardiles's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Jayvier came free, but Mauricio Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Saul Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardiles's protests and gave Saul Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Mauricio Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Manny hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Carlos Tebaldo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Daniel Haimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernando Iturri came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Intiguasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Iturri couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Nafarroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauricio Transito, 3-0. In the 28th minute of the match, Ramon Unax got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauricio Transito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Intiguasi's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Mincho came free, but Zdzislaw Pahucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Mauricio Transito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mauricio Transito was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Anacleto Cordarell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anacleto Cordarell really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Iturri got free with Mauricio Transito in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Transito was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Ciro Jayvier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Jayvier really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Daniel Haimar put in a rough tackle. Mauricio Transito had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Rodas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Solustiano to make the kick off. If Anacleto Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Anacleto Cordarell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Transito. Ardiles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Cordarell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Nafarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Transito was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Mauricio Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Zdzislaw Pahucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Solustiano in the 76th minute.
