The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 minutes, Silvestre Colon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Udpimango and the Del Piero 10 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Del Piero 10 booed when Udpimango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Mirande was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Del Piero 10's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gogo Valiente took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Jeraldo. Alberto Jeraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alberto Jeraldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Paskal went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 27th match minute, Udpimango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Senin shot from long distance in the 27th minute, but Abel Perrando was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Del Piero 10's Serafin Mirande got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Udpimango got a freekick which was hit by Severo Anaya. After 33 played minutes, Del Piero 10's Genaro Senin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Perrando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Del Piero 10 reached it. Abel Perrando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cecilio Gorbea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 34 minute of play. Abel Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Arturo Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alberto Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Jeraldo having to interfere. When Gogo Valiente came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Udpimango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Valiente couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Abel Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Perrando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauricio Lixandro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 47 minute of play. The Del Piero 10 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Udpimango were winning 2-3.

Gogo Valiente hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Serafin Mirande struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Abel Perrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Del Piero 10. Abel Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Mirande in the 59th minute of play. Udpimango 's Abel Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Iraunkor in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Udpimango defense, Carmelo Iraunkor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Perrando. The Udpimango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Perrando should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Udpimango 's Gogo Valiente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Jeraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Paskal in the 70th minute of play. Ubaldo Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Alberto Jeraldo was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ubaldo Paskal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ubaldo Paskal really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Mirande in the 84th minute of play forced Udpimango 's goalkeeper Abel Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Silvestre Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udpimango 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Colon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, Del Piero 10's Cecilio Gorbea made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Silvestre Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Udpimango players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
