El Oso FC's Alfonso Sadurni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cecilio Otoniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Serafin Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Milio in the 23rd minute. Fabricio Toli hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Alfonso Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes El Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Toli. Santo Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Weather's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Otoniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. El Mardel's Ovidio Milio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Sadurni was the one to do the kick off. If Santo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Domingos Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the El Oso FC defense, Fabricio Toli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Montrelle. The El Oso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Montrelle should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Domingos Chinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Serafin Montrelle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Montrelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 90 minutes into the game, Ivan Frisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Oso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Mardel the free kick. Ivan Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Baltasar Mitxel hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After 95 played minutes El Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Candido Diagur. 97 minutes into the game, Victoriano Weather recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecilio Otoniel. Victoriano Weather showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Many of El Oso FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. El Oso FC may have spent more time on the ball, but El Mardel were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
