Ismael Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Villa Pueyrredón FC's Maximiliano Urko got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Villa Pueyrredón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Luke came free, but Fabian Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of El Glorioso FC booed when Villa Pueyrredón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Villa Pueyrredón FC defense, Arturo Fonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Gaitan. The Villa Pueyrredón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Gaitan should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Celso Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Oton in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Wollny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidro Luke scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Gaitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29thth minute of the game Isidro Luke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Pueyrredón FC's Fabian Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Luke in the 32nd minute of the match. Fabian Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Hayes in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Pueyrredón FC! Arturo Fonso shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Enrique Peruxu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Domingo Wollny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Pueyrredón FC.

The wind increased when Angel Oton made the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Angel Oton shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Domingo Wollny and just under the crossbar into goal. Domingo Wollny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Peruxu in the 60th minute of play. Domingo Wollny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Gau in the 63rd minute of the match. Fabian Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Jon in the 68th minute. Moises Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Domingo Wollny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Wollny having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Teo Beltza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Pueyrredón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Beltza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Glorioso FC's zone, Moises Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Wollny came out of the goal and Moises Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Pueyrredón FC's Fabian Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Luke in the 81st minute of play. Arnaldo Gaizkine's late challenge caught a Villa Pueyrredón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Gaizkine helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Glorioso FC's Arnaldo Gaizkine got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Angel Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Pueyrredón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Angel Oton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villa Pueyrredón FC's Moises Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villa Pueyrredón FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
